Cry Out America!
On September 11th we remember when America was attacked by terrorists. We remember the shock, bewilderment, and gut-wrenching grief when the towers fell, the Pentagon was hit, the plane downed in the field. We remember the first-responders. We remember the lives and families impacted by the barbaric attack. May their memory be eternal.
This September let us also remember the spiritual forces of darkness that entangle their way throughout our government, the media, and militant extremists. We will do more than just remember. We will Cry Out to the Lord and make intercession for America – the land that we love.
We are citizens of Heaven, the New Jerusalem, the Kingdom of God. We live in America as pilgrims and strangers, being a peculiar people and a royal priesthood. As ambassadors for Christ, we have been given the ministry of reconciliation. Calling others to be reconciled to God – daily.
September 11th is a call to fight the good fight of faith. Take on the whole armor of God, praying with every type of prayer and supplication, making intercessions for America. We pray for our leaders, that they would be given victory over the adversary and all evil, that we may lead a peaceful life in all holiness and godliness unto good works.
|A Message from the Florida National Day of Prayers office: We want to encourage you to join us and our ministry partners at Intercessors for America as we observe Cry Out America in remembrance of 9/11. Join in prayer and repentance to spark a national revival beginning September 11, 2019. Please go to cryoutamerica.org to sign up to receive one week of daily emails, beginning on September 11, 2019, guiding you through prayers of repentance focusing on six critical concerns that have become roadblocks in our corporate pursuit of a great spiritual awakening. As we cry out in repentance, individually and corporately, we trust God will hear our prayers and heal our land.|
Take a few minutes throughout the day, when you think of 9/11, pause and pray!
Love in Christ,
